Marina Tavares – Quando foi a sua primeira festa de música eletrônica?
Audiotec – Foi no final dos anos 90, em Israel. Naquela época, eu percebi que queria ser um produtor, e no início de 2000, comecei a aprender como produzir Psychedelic Trance.
Marina Tavares – Como foi o início da sua carreira?
Audiotec – Foi ótimo! Eu aprendi rapidamente como mexer nos programas de música, já tinha paixão em criar, e o meu primeiro lançamento foi em uma compilação em 2003. Eu tinha 19 anos, e isso foi um pouco antes de terminar o meu primeiro álbum “The magic of love”. Esse foi o início oficial da minha carreira como DJ, viajando ao redor do mundo.
Marina Tavares – Por que você escolheu o nome Audiotec?
Audiotec – Naquela época, a música eletrônica se tornou aberta para todos, e os programas com áudio de som ficaram simples. Então, eu tive a ideia de chamar o meu projeto de Audiotec: Áudio – tecnologia.
Marina Tavares – Fale-me um pouco sobre o seu projeto paralelo Artificials.
Audiotec – Artificials é o meu projeto paralelo com um dos meus melhores amigos, o talentoso Ilan Shemi aka Symbolic. Nós criamos o projeto após várias colaborações que fizemos. Nós começamos juntos como produtores, e decidimos fazer algo novo, porque temos gostos parecidos, e estamos trabalhando duro para trazer algo diferente para o público.
Marina Tavares – O que você acha da cena eletrônica no Brasil?
Audiotec – Eu vim ao Brasil diversas vezes em 2003, e depois parei por um tempo. Eu estava mudando o meu estilo. Eu voltei um mês atrás, e agora para tocar em um dos maiores festivais de Psychedelic Trance do Brasil: Soulvision. Eu estou muito surpreso, em um bom sentido, com a cena no Brasil. Primeiramente, é a maior que eu já vi no mundo inteiro. Tudo é feito tão perfeitamente, a decoração, organização, e o mais importante é o público, que está conectado com a música e a festa, trazendo as melhores energias que eu já vi. Eu acho que o Brasil tem a raíz do verdadeiro Psychedelic Trance que estava sentindo falta durante esses anos. Eu estou feliz com a nova geração, e por fazer parte da mudança que está vindo!

Marina Tavares – De onde você tira inspiração para criar novas músicas?
Audiotec – Eu tiro inspiração de todos os lugares e de tudo! Simples como a vida, ou alguma história, pode ser um filme ou uma música, sentimentos de pessoas, natureza, etc… Eu tiro inspiração de bons festivais, e fico motivado a criar música.
Marina Tavares – Quais são as novidades em relação à turnês e lançamentos?
Audiotec – Eu estou feliz em anunciar que sou parte da gravadora canadense TechSafari Records. Os meus próximos lançamentos irão vir do Audiotec & Artificials. O meu quarto álbum do Audiotec está em processo, ficará pronto e será lançado no final de 2017, pela TechSafari Records.
Marina Tavares – Gostaria de finalizar com uma mensagem para os seus fãs?
Audiotec – Sim! Eu somente quero dizer que a maior aventura que você pode ter na sua vida, é viver a vida dos seus sonhos. Apenas ouça a música, divirta-se, dance, e imagine! Amo todos vocês!

Marina Tavares – Quando foi o seu primeiro contato com a música eletrônica?
DJ Rikam – O meu primeiro contato com a música eletrônica foi em um clube, por volta de 1990, no Canadá. Eu descobri acid house e acid trance music…
Marina Tavares – Como isso se tornou algo a mais em sua vida?
DJ Rikam – Isso se tornou algo a mais em minha vida, quando eu decidi criar uma pequena organização de Psychedelic Trance (Goa Trance), em uma pequena cidade na província de Quebec, no Canadá. Eu organizei a primeira festa rave por lá, e na mesma época, a primeira festa de Goa Trance… Eu comecei a tocar por volta de 1998, e quinze anos depois, comecei a minha gravadora…
Marina Tavares – Como foi o início do seu projeto?
DJ Rikam – O início do meu projeto não foi realmente claro, porque eu não tinha experiência na música, mas tinha muita experiência em organização de eventos e festivais (Eclipse Festival no Canadá) por mais de 20 anos… Criar a minha gravadora era um sonho… Eu era DJ na Neurobiotic Records, entre 2006 e 2013… Após muitas discussões com o meu parceiro Thomas Dubreuil (Voyager / Altom), eu criei a TechSafari Records, lancei a minha primeira compilação em 2013, e aos poucos, comecei a lançar álbuns digitais…
Marina Tavares – Quais são as suas influências musicais?
DJ Rikam – Eu ouço música eletrônica por mais de 25 anos, de techno e house, até Psychedelic Trance e Ambient. As minhas inspirações são Solar Fields, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Aes Dana, Asura… As minhas inspirações no Psychedelic Trance são X-Dream, Vibrasphere, Jaia, Symbolic, Voyager, Audiotec, Egorythmia, Zen Mechanics… Sobre outros estilos musicais, eu posso dizer Depeche Mode, New Order, e U2…
Marina Tavares – Fale-me um pouco sobre a TechSafari Records.
DJ Rikam – Era um velho sonho, e eu comecei a minha gravadora em Montreal, no Canadá, em 2013… Após um ano, a gravadora estava crescendo, e a TechSafari Records teve muitos lançamentos: Audiotec, Symbolic, Voyager, Faders, Artificials, Liftshift, e muito mais. Eu quis seguir o meu caminho, e crescer com o fluxo. É importante ser paciente, e aos poucos, tudo pode acontecer… Nós temos vários EP’s no caminho, produzidos por novos artistas.
Marina Tavares – Onde foi a apresentação que mais te marcou?
DJ Rikam – Não é fácil dizer, mas eu acho que a minha apresentação favorita foi no Eclipse Festival, em 2012, no Canadá, em um sábado à noite. Sabe, não é fácil organizar e tocar em uma festa ao mesmo tempo…
Marina Tavares – Fale-me um pouco sobre o Eclipse Festival.
DJ Rikam – Eclipse é um dos mais esperados festivais no Canadá, que acontecia a cada dois anos até 2014, e agora acontece todos os anos… Cerca de 3.000 pessoas se reunem em Quebec, Canadá, onde a cena é Underground e única para os fãs de Psychedelic Trance, techno, downtempo… Para ser honesto, eu estou orgulhoso do que meus parceiros e eu fizemos com o nosso time, por mais de 14 anos… Nós criamos uma decoração e estrutura única, um palco incrível, usando um sistema de som chamado Meyer Sound System… O lugar é inestimável… Uma floresta verde com um lindo rio. É tão adorável e especial!
Marina Tavares – Gostaria de finalizar com uma mensagem para os seus fãs?
DJ Rikam – Tente encontrar a sua missão na vida! Tudo pode acontecer quando você coloca suas boas intenções nas coisas em que você acredita, siga o seu coração. Nós podemos fazer a diferença para um futuro melhor na Terra. Nós estamos provavelmente no momento mais importante na história da humanidade. Nós precisamos curar o nosso planeta e a nossa alma. Nós somos um!

Interview: Audiotec
Marina Tavares – When was your first electronic music party?
Audiotec – It was somewhere in Israel around the end of the 90′. That time I realized I want to become a producer and started to learn how to produce Psytrance in the beginning of 2000.
Marina Tavares – How was the beginning of your career?
Audiotec – It was great! I’ve been learning quickly the music programs and I already had the passion to create and my first release was coming in one compilation on 2003. I was 19 years old and it was quick before I finished my first album “The magic of love” and it was the official opening of my career as a DJ traveling around the world.
Marina Tavares – Why did you choose the name Audiotec?
Audiotec – On that days the electronic music became open to everyone and the programs became simple to use with audio sounds and vst. So I had the idea to call my project Audiotec: Audio – technology.
Marina Tavares – Tell me a little bit about your side project Artificials.
Audiotec – Artificials is my new side project together with one of my best friends, the talented Ilan Shemi aka Symbolic. We created the project after several colaborations we did. We started together as producers back in the days and we decided together to make something new because we have similar taste of styles and we are working hard these days to bring to the crowd something fresh.
Marina Tavares – What do you think about the Brazilian electronic scene?
Audiotec – I’ve been coming several times back on 2003 and than I stopped for a while. I was changing and shaping my style. I came back one month ago and now to play in one of the biggest Psytrance festivals from Brazil: Soulvision. I’m very suprised in a good way about the scene in Brazil. First it’s the most massive and huge I’ve ever seen in the whole world. Everything it’s perfectly made, the decoration, organization and the most important is the crowd that is connected to the music and to the party and giving maybe the best vibes I have ever seen. I think that Brazil has the roots of the real psychedelic that I have been missing those years. I’m happy with the new Psychedelic generation in Brazil and I’m happy to be part in the change that is coming!
Marina Tavares – Where do you get inspiration to create new music?
Audiotec – Well, I get it from everywhere and everything! Simple as life itself or from any story, it can be a movie or a song or a track, it can be people’s feelings, nature, etc… I get it from good festivals and I get motivated to create music.
Marina Tavares – What are the news about tours and releases?
Audiotec – I joined the Canadian label TechSafari Records. I’m happy to be part of the label. My future releases are coming from “Audiotec & Artificials” and my 4th Audiotec album is on high process now and will be done and released on the end of 2017 on TechSafari Records.
Marina Tavares – Do you want to leave a message to your fans?
Audiotec – Yeah! I will just say that the biggest adventure you can have is live the life of your dreams. Just listen, enjoy, dance and imagine! Love you all!

Marina Tavares – When was your first contact with electronic music?
DJ Rikam – My first contact with electronic music was in a club around 1990 in Canada. I discovered acid house and acid trance music…
Marina Tavares – How it became something more in your life?
DJ Rikam – Well, it became something more in my life when I decided to create a Psytrance (Goa Trance) organization in a small town in the province of Quebec in Canada. I organized the first rave party there, and at the same time the first Goa Trance party… I started to be a DJ around 1998 and after 15 years I started my music label…
Marina Tavares – How was the beginning of your project?
DJ Rikam – The beginning of my project was not really clear because I had no experience in music business but a lot of experience in event and festival organization (Eclipse Festival in Canada) for more than 20 years… Create my proper label was a dream since more than 20 years in the electronic music scene… I was a DJ on Neurobiotic Records around 2006 to 2013… After many discussions with my mate Thomas Dubreuil (Voyager / Altom), I created TechSafari Records and I released my first compilation in 2013 and little by little, I started to release a couple of digital releases…
Marina Tavares – What are your musical influences?
DJ Rikam – I listen to electronic music more than 25 years, from electronica, techno and house music to Psytrance and ambient music. My inspirations are Solar Fields, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Aes Dana, Asura… My inspirations in Psytrance are X-Dream, Vibrasphere, Jaia, Symbolic, Voyager, Audiotec, Egorythmia, Zen Mechanics… About another kind of music, I can say Depeche Mode, New Order and U2 are always my inspirations…
Marina Tavares – Tell me a little bit about TechSafari Records.
DJ Rikam – It was an old dream and I started my music label on 2013 in Montreal, Canada… After one year the label was growing up and TechSafari Records had many strong releases by Audiotec, Symbolic, Voyager, Faders, Artificials, Liftshift and many more. I wanted to follow my path and grow with the flow. It’s also important to be patient, and step by step, everything can happen… We have several debut EP’s on the way produced by new artists.
Marina Tavares – Where was your most remarkable gig?
DJ Rikam – Mmmm, not easy to say, but I think my favorite gig was Eclipse Festival in Canada on 2012, Saturday night. I had a blast. You know, it’s not simple and easy to organize a party and play at the same time…
Marina Tavares – Tell me a little bit about Eclipse Festival.
DJ Rikam – Eclipse is one of the most anticipated festivals in Canada, presented every two years until 2014, and now every year… Around 3.000 dancers are united in Quebec, Canada where the scene is Underground and unique to Psytrance fans, Techno, Downtempo… To be honest, I’m proud of my partners and me and what we made with our great team together for more than 14 years… We created a unique decoration/structure and a incredible stage design, using a very good sound system called Meyer Sound System… The venue is priceless… a green forest with a beautiful river. It’s so lovely and special.
Marina Tavares – Do you want to leave a message to your fans?
DJ Rikam – Try to find your mission in life! Everything can happen if you put your good intentions in the things that you believe, follow your heart. We can make it different for a better future on Earth. We are probably in the most important moment of the story of humanity. We need to heal our planet and we need to heal our soul. We are one!
